We are currently accepting submissions to three of our four corners. Please note that due to the volume of submissions we receive, it is not possible for us to reply to everyone or to provide feedback. If you have not received a reply within 5 working days, unfortunately it means that your submission was unsuccessful.
Please note that, with the exception of our Cinema corner, we only accept work on an exclusive basis. For the avoidance of doubt, this means that the submitted work has not been published by other platforms. You can find the criteria outlined in further detail below.

The ÁJÍFA Gallery is an exhibition corner that centres People of Colour, with a focus on documentary photography, editorials and fine art. We welcome photographers, illustrators, painters, sculptors, printmakers, multi-disciplinary artists, designers, stylists and more to this corner.
To submit to this corner, please email submissions@ajifa.co with a PDF summary of the image series, description and team credits (if applicable). We require a minimum of 8 images. Please note that we only accept work on an exclusive basis which, for the avoidance of doubt, means that it has not been published by other print publications or digital platforms (excluding personal websites/professional portfolios). We do accept work that has been or will be exhibited as part of an in-person exhibition. We do not accept zip files and any emails enclosing zip files will be discarded immediately. As part of the assessment process, the team may request that you provide a Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer link to the full series of images.

We focus on unpacking their unique journeys, creative processes and experiences. If you are a creative who is looking for honest, first-hand accounts of lived experiences, from individuals who have found success within the industries that you are also aspiring to progress in, this is the corner for you.
This corner is not open to submissions at this time.
